Content expansion + MCP server + Skills
Expanded the Work Samples, Posts, and Resume with more real-world examples, launched a new Tech Writing Skills section, added a dedicated MCP Server page, and introduced Portfolio Skills for automated maintenance.

New content

  • Published a new post, AI in docs.
  • Added editing samples that show before-and-after rewrites: a CDC Stream Monitor developer note rewrite in Content review and a long-form API token guide rewrite with an inline diff in Long-form content review.
  • Documented the public MCP endpoint, discovery endpoint, and available search/filesystem tools.
  • Added MCP setup instructions for Claude, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, OpenCode, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP-compatible clients.
  • Published Rendering a GitHub README in Mintlify Without Copying It, covering the process behind live-rendering external GitHub content in the portfolio.
  • Added a dedicated Tech Writing Skills section that live-renders the curated awesome-tech-writing-skills README and repo-local SKILL.md files from GitHub.
  • Added the Update Changelog skill to keep future portfolio release notes concise and consistent.

Improvements

  • Refined page titles and framing in the Content Review section to improve scannability.
  • Refactored the Resume page to use unified spacing/heading patterns for easier scanning.
  • Integrated PostHog for site analytics and usage tracking.
  • Added the MCP Server tab to the site navigation and prompt guidance for better portfolio retrieval results.
  • Added an Appreciations section to the Resume, with manager and cross-functional recognition from PayPal projects.

Navigation refresh + new writing samples
A broader refresh focused on information architecture, new writing samples, and a cleaner reading experience across the site.

New sections and samples

Improvements

  • Updated navigation and page labeling for quicker wayfinding from Home.
  • Refreshed the API Reference introduction and endpoint documentation.
  • Updated Resume content (summary and experience details), including a linked PDF.
  • Reordered work sample cards and sidebar navigation to better match how readers scan and compare samples.
  • Added contextual “Ask …” actions to help readers evaluate the portfolio from multiple perspectives.

Initial portfolio v1
First published version of the portfolio docs site.

  • Launched the initial site structure and navigation.
